Teen Reader's Choice Award 2016











Attention all CEC students! It’s time to participate in the fifth annual CCRSB Teen Reader's Choice Award. This year's top ten books are as follows:

  • All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
  • Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer
  • The Crossover by Kwame Alexander
  • Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
  • Greenglass House by Kate Milford
  • The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson
  • A Mad, Wicked Folly by Sharon Biggs Waller
  • Nimona by Noella Stevenson
  • The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin
  • We Should Hang Out Sometime: Embarrassingly, a True Story by Josh Sundquist 

Beginning on March 8th, participants are encouraged to read one or more of these books and discuss the titles on an online forum with other CCRSB students. Voting for your favourite book from this list will take place until May 20th. A winner will be announced on May 31st. Students will be able to vote electronically online or in the library by paper ballot.
